NATIONAL SEMINAR ON
INTERNATIONALISATION OF ACADEMIA

jointly organized by

Malaysian Academic Movement (MOVE/GERAK)

and

University of Malaya Academic Staff Association (PKAUM)



VENUE: Bilik Wawasan, Rumah Universiti Malaya

OBJECTIVES:
Exposure to international issues affecting the Malaysian academics
Discourse on the internationalisation of Malaysian Universities through:
i) Increase in intake of foreign lecturers and students
ii) Changes in course contents to reflect international appeal over local needs
iii) Emphasis on international research collaborations and publications

PARTICIPATION
Open to all academics in all institutions of higher education (both public and private) in Malaysia. Participation from the management and administration of institutions of higher education, government institutions and the public are also welcome.

REGISTRATION FEES
(to cover lunch, refreshment and handouts)
Members of academic organizations RM50.00
Others RM70.00
The 2007 membership fee will be waived for participants who are GERAK members. This waiver will also be applied to those who applied for membership during the meeting.
